THIS IS MY STORY.
DJ Misterhustla (Tomi, born 1990) started his career as a mixtape DJ in 2009. The very first mixtape, titled Overseas Hustle: Chapter One, was hosted by Georgia rapper Jimmy HenneC and Chicago rapper Mr Robotic (fka Bullet). After that he linked up with his Miami label Poe Boy Music Group (home to Flo Rida, Rick Ross and others) and released Overseas Hustle vol. 2 with Poe Boy's DJ Smokey Bear, hosted by their artists Mista Mac and Billy Blue. This mixtape was widely recognized in Miami's local scene and music blogs and got Misterhustla a couple of shows in then legendary 24hourhiphop.com's internet radio. Later on he did mixtapes with Nyanda of Brick & Lace, Ace Hood, and others.

Tomi played some club events between 2010 and 2013, but it wasn't until early 2014 when he started doing them more seriously. After warming up for Schoolboy Q spring 2014, he quickly became one of the top urban deejays in Finland. By the end of 2019, Tomi has done over 800 gigs. Currently he’s playing at the biggest nightclubs of Finland, doing festival afterparties, party cruises and occasional visits abroad too. Tomi has toured in Estonia, Namibia and South Africa.
Misterhustla has warmed up for The Game, YG, Schoolboy Q, Angel Haze, Kid Ink, Lloyd Banks, Tinashe, Gyptian, Yemi Alade, Cipha Sounds, DJ Latin Prince and numerous Finnish rappers. He has also done two short gigs as Roc-A-Fella rapper Memphis Bleek's DJ.
Tomi is most known for his style of playing hip-hop, trap and R&B combined with afrobeats, afrohouse, dancehall and latin tunes.
