Gqom is South African afro house sub genre coming from Durban. Gqom music relates a lot to house music but it is also very different. It is very tribal and the kick drum has unique three-step or two-step pattern. Gwara gwara is South African viral dance made popular by DJ Bongz and later by Rihanna, Chris Brown and others.
